Transit Visas

Do I need a transit visa to travel through Ireland on my way to another country ?

If you are travelling through Ireland to land in Italy, for example, you should check if you require a visa ie a transit visa.

This is because even though you are on a connecting flight you may need to go landside, for example, between airport terminals and therefore you’re required to have permission to enter the state.
