A plastic surgeon will have studied with a medical degree, undergone basic and higher surgical training requirements, MRSC certification in Ireland is required and will attain certification from the Royal College of Surgeons.

Blepharoplasty ie eyelid surgery : This involves the removal of excess skin to improve the appearance of the eyelids. Blepharoplasty is usually performed for cosmetic reasons to address possibly excess skin or bags under the eyelids.

Gynecomastia Surgery – this is a surgical procedure focused on reducing the size of enlarged breasts in males. Gynecomastia is a condition characterized by too much fat, glandular tissue or skin in the male regarding the breast gland.
Brachioplasty – Liposuction type procedure for the arms.
If the medical care undertaken for the person does not meet the standard of care required, which has consequently led to damage to the person, a cosmetic surgery claim may arise.
