Business Visa Ireland – Short Stay
If you wish to travel to Ireland for business purposes and are from a visa required country, a business visa, otherwise known as a ‘C’ Visa may be applicable to you.
This is for a short term visa and the permission, if granted, is for up to 90 days.
Countries from which persons require a visa are listed on The Irish Immigration Services website.

Application
You can apply for such a visa online via the AVATs portal on www.inis.gov.ie
A list of documents required to accompany your application is specified on the website.
The cost of a single entry visa application is €60 and €100 for multi-entry.
It is necessary to provide proof you will return home after your business trip. This will include a letter from your employer setting out particulars of your employment and visit to Ireland. If you are self-employed you will have to provide proof of same. If you own property, you should provide a title deed and if a tenant a tenancy agreement.
You must provide with your application your accommodation plan, medical insurance proof, finance plan with the particulars of your visit.
Decision
If your application is granted you will obtain an Irish Visa endorsement on your passport.
If your application has been refused, you can appeal a decision but it must be within 2 months from the date of your refusal letter.
