Non-EEA National awaiting EU Passport

Immigration Service Delivery introduced a notice on December 20th 2023 to clarify the position for Non-EEA persons who have a court document stating they are an EU citizen but do not yet have an EU passport.

This notice is to assist persons understand what their legal status is in the state in this circumstance.

Such persons in essence who are awaiting their EU passport must have a valid immigration permission to reside within the state.

A court document will not be evidence of citizenship of an EU country.
